Daniel Argentino - Mr Gay Italia 2011 - Italy is the land of missed opportunities

Il y a quelques semaines, l'élection de Mr Gay Italie s'est déroulée à Rome et c'est le jeune Daniel Argentino qui a remporté le cours ! J'ai pu lui poser quelques questions, voici son interview :

Some weeks ago, the election of Mr Gay Italy took place in Rome and the young Daniel Argentino won the contest! I asked him some questions and here is his interview:

Benjamin - Bonjour Daniel. Peux-tu te présenter en quelques mots?

Daniel Argentino - Bonjour à vous tous ! Je suis Daniel, 21 ans, j’aime le sports, je fais du volley-ball avec passion et j'aime la mer d'une manière incroyable, c’est plus fort que moi. Je vis à Rome, et jusqu'à récemment, je travaillais dans un magasin de vêtements ... Dans mon enfance, j'étais un garçon très vif, très attaché à ma famille et ma tante Fiorella ... Plein de rêves et de désir de faire, curieux de tout autour de moi ! Je suis un gars simple qui aime être avec des amis, peut-être jouer au beach volley ...

Benjamin - Comment as-tu fait ton coming-out ? Quelle a été la réaction de tes parents et amis?

Daniel Argentino - Ca s’est passé comme a… soudainement ... comme un coup de foudre. C’est à cause de Facebook qu’ils ont découvert ... alors tout est résolu ... L'amour gagne toujours ... Je ne pouvais pas être plus chanceux ... J'ai eu quelques problèmes, mais ma famille m'a donné une démonstration de sa grande affection ... Et les vrais amis sont vraiment un trésor !

Benjamin -Que penses-tu de la situation LGBT en Italie ? Que faut-il améliorer et comment ?

Daniel Argentino - C’est le pays des occasions manquées. Pour une énième fois, les débats sur la législation se sont terminés dans une impasse ... Nous allons nous battre à nouveau et nous ne cesserons jamais ... Et nous travaillons sur nous-mêmes d'abord !

Benjamin - Quelles ont été tes motivations pour devenir Mr Gay Italie ? Quels sont tes projets ?

Daniel Argentino - J'avais peu de raisons réelles, mais beaucoup de curiosité ... Ensuite, je suis entré dans le jeu et j'ai commencé à vraiment réaliser ... J’ai de nombreux projets, le film pour commencer, mais je sais qu’il reste beaucoup à étudier ... Et pour m'assurer que les rêves deviennent réalité, je dois être capable de garder les pieds sur le sol ... Et être moi-même.

Benjamin - Tu participeras à M. Gay Europe. Quelles sont tes motivations pour l'Europe ?

Daniel Argentino - Oui, je participerai au concours, j’ai vraiment hâte !

L'Europe, c'est notre maison commune, l'approche de la Méditerranée avec toutes ses richesses et traditions culturelles et les droits de l’homme de l’Europe nordique, chacun apportera sa contribution ... Je vais essayer d'apporter la mienne.

Benjamin - Où es-tu allé en Europe ? Quelles langues parles-tu ? Déjà allé en France ? Un petit mot pour mes lecteurs en France et en Europe?

Daniel Argentino - J'étais en vacances en Espagne et en Grèce et j'ai visité un peu pour les capitales européennes : Paris, Londres, Dublin, et je ne vous cacherai pas que j'ai un grand désir de passer quelque temps à Nice, je pense que c’est ma résidence secondaire idéale J

Benjamin - Hello Daniel. You can present yourself in a few words?

Daniel Argentino - Hello to you all! I'm Daniel, 21, I like sports so much, I play volleyball with passion and I love the sea in an incredible way, I could not help it. I live in Rome, and until recently, I worked as in a clothing store ... As a child I was a very lively boy, very attached to my family and my aunt Fiorella … Full of dreams and desire to do things, curious about everything around me! I am a simple guy who loves being with friends, maybe playing beach volleyball ...

Benjamin - How did the coming-out? How did your parents and friends react?

Daniel Argentino - It happened this way ... suddenly ... like a bolt of lightning. Because of Facebook, I have been "discovered" by my parents ... then everything was solved ... Love always wins ... I could not be more lucky ... I had little problems but my family gave me a demonstration of great affection ... And true friends really are a treasure!

Benjamin - What do you think about the LGBT situation in Italy? What should be improve and how?

Daniel Argentino - Italy is the land of missed opportunities. Again, the terms of legislation ended in stalemate ... We will fight again and we will never end ... And we will work on ourselves first!

Benjamin - What were your motivations to become Mr Gay Italy? What are your plans?

Daniel Argentino - I had a few real reasons, but a lot of curiosity ... Then the game has become and I started to really want to win ... I have many projects, film would be my point of arrival, but I know that you have to study a lot ... And to ensure that dreams become reality, I must be able to keep my feet on the ground ... And be myself.

Benjamin - You will participate to Mr Gay Europe. What are your motivations for Europe?

Daniel Argentino - Yes, I will definitely participate, I cannot wait!

Europe means the common house, with the approach of the Mediterranean with all its wealth of cultural traditions and the human rights standards from Northern Europe, each will bring its contribution ... I will try to make my contribution.

Benjamin - Where did you go in Europe? What languages do you speak? Already went to France? Want to say something to my readers in France and Europe?

Daniel Argentino - I was on holiday in Spain and Greece and I traveled a bit in the European capitals: Paris, London, Dublin, and I will not conceal that I have a great desire to spend some time in Nice, I think of it as an ideal second home.

Benjamin - Buongiorno Daniel. Puoi presentarti in qualche parola?

Daniel Argentino - Ciao a tutti voi! Sono Daniel, 21 anni, tanto sport, pratico il volley con passione e adoro il mare in un modo incredibile, non potrei farne a meno. Vivo a Roma e fino a poco tempo fa lavoravo come commesso in un negozio di abbigliamento... Da bambino ero un ragazzino molto vivace, legatissimo alla mia famiglia e a mia zia Fiorella... Pieno di sogni e di voglia di fare, curioso su tutto quello che mi circondava !!! Sono un ragazzo molto semplice che ama stare con gli amici, magari giocando a beach volley ...

Benjamin - Come hai fatto il coming-out? Come hanno risposto i tuoi genitori e amici?

Daniel Argentino - E’ successo cosi’ ... improvvisamente ... come un colpo di fulmine. Complice Facebook, sono stato “scoperto” dai miei ... poi tutto si è risolto ... L’amore vince sempre ... Non potevo essere piu’ fortunato di cosi’ ... mi facevo un po’ di problemi ma la mia famiglia mi ha dato dimostrazione di grande affeto ... Gli amici quello veri sono davvero un tesoro !!!

Benjamin - Che pensi della situazione LGBT in Italia? Che cosa si deve improvare e come?

Daniel Argentino - E’ il paese delle occasioni mancate. Per l’ennessima volta, i ter legislativi che si concludono sempte con un nulla di fatto ... Lotteremo ancora che non ci stancheremo mai ... E lavoriamo prima su noi stessi !!!

Benjamin - Quali erano i tuoi motivi per diventare Mr Gay Italia? Quali sono i tuoi progetti?

Daniel Argentino - Di motivi veri ne avevo pochi, molta curiosità ... Poi il gioco si è diventato ed ho iniziato a volerlo davvero ... Di progetti tanti, il cinema sarebbe, il mio punto di arrivo, ma so che bisogna studiare molto ... E per far si che i sogni diventino realtà bisogna saper restare con i piedi per terra ... Ed essere me stesso.

Benjamin - Participerà al concorso Mr Gay Europe. Quale sono i tuoi motivi per l'Europa?

Daniel Argentino - Si, participerò sens’altro, non vedo l’ora !!!

Europa vuol dire casa comune, avvicinamento dell’area mediterranea con tutto il suo bagaglio di tradizione culturale e umanità agli standard dei diritti dell’Europa nordica ognuno porterà il suo contributo ... Io proverò a dare il mio contributo.

Benjamin - Dove sei andato in Europa? Quale lingue parli? Sei gia andato in Francia? Vuoi dire qualcosa per i miei lettori francesi e europei?..

Daniel Argentino - Sono stato in vacanza in Spagna e in Grecia e ho girato un pò per le capitali europee: Parigi, Londra, Dublino, e non vi nascondo che ho un grande desiderio di trascorrere un pò di tempo a Nizza, la immagino come seconda patria ideale ... J
