International Day Against Homophabia (IDAHO) – 17 mai 2011

Bien qu’à travers le monde, chaque pays ait sa culture, sa langue et son histoire, tous les pays sont confrontés à un même fléau : l’homophobie.

Depuis 2005, le 17 mai a été choisit pour mettre en avant ce fléau et sensibiliser la population. Une fois n’est pas coutume, c’est un français (Louis-Georges Tin) qui est à l’origine de cette journée, la journée internationale contre l’homophobie (IDAHO – International Day Against Homophobia).

Chaque année, les associations LGBT, mais aussi différents acteurs de la société civile, organisent des actions locales, régionales et internationales pour agir contre l’homophobie.

Vous trouverez les différentes actions sur le site internet de l’IDAHO. Vous pouvez également y faire connaître vos actions et participer à la campagne internationale.
