Denkmal für die im Nationalsozialismus verfolgten Homosexuellen

En séjour à Berlin, je suis retourné au Denkmal für die im Nationalsozialismus verfolgten Homosexuellen, le Mémorial des victimes homosexuelles pendant le nazisme. Un monument très sobre, mais fortement symbolique, que j'avais visité pour la première fois l'année dernière. A chaque fois, c'est avec beaucoup d'émotion que je revois ce monument, très important pour notre devoir de mémoire.

A noter qu'actuellement, il y a un débat en Allemagne à propos de ce monument. En effet, il est question de changer le film diffusé (actuellement deux garçons qui s'embrassent), pour diffuser un film où également deux filles s'embrassent. Hors, pendant le nazisme, les lesbiennes ne faisaient pas l'objet d'une persécution comme l'ont subit les gays. Le paragraphe 175 interdisait les relations entre hommes, mais pas entre femmes. Certains historiens disent que diffuser un baiser lesbien reviendrait à trahir l'Histoire.

During my trip to Berlin, I came back to the Denkmal für die im Nationalsozialismus verfolgten Homosexuellen, the Memorial to Homosexuals persecuted under Nazism. This memorial is simple but highly symbolic, I visited it last year already. Each time, I have a lot of emotions when I see this very important memorial for the memory of History.

At the moment, there is a debate in Germany about this memorial. There is indeed a question of changing the film inside (at the moment two boys kissing), to show also two girls kissing. But, during the nazi time, only gay men were persecuted, not lesbians. The paragraph 175 made illegal relationship between men, but not between women. Some historians argue that a lesbian kiss will betrayed History.
