MGE, Europride, Eurogames, ILGA-Europe – Les évènements LGBT européens de 2011

Souvent, lorsque je parle d’Europe, les gens me répondent qu’ils seraient bien motivés pour partager plus avec les autres pays européens, mais ils ne savent pas comment.

Une première façon est de soutenir et participer aux événements LGBT européens. En voici 4 qui auront lieu en 2011. La liste est non exhaustive et le classement est d’ordre chronologique.

Mister Gay Europe
Brasov - Roumanie
13-17 Avril 2011

Le concours Mr. Gay Europe est plus qu’un concours de beauté. Les candidats sont plus qu’un « beau visage et un beau corps ». Alors que le beauté physique sera un critère pour les juges, c’est la beauté intérieur du candidat qui fera la différence dans la sélection.

A noter que la France sera de retour dans le concours en 2011, représentée par Guillaume Barbier, Ambassadeur Gay France

Europride 2011
Rome – Italie
1-12 Juin 2011

Europride est un événement LGBT international qui se déroule chaque année dans une ville européenne différente. Pendant 15 jours à Rome, il y aura des rencontres artistiques et culturelles. Le point culminant de l’Europride sera la marche, les concerts et les fêtes dans les clubs internationaux qui auront lieu durant le week-end final.

EuroGames 2011
Rotterdam – Pays-Bas
20-24 Juillet 2011

Rotterdam se prépare à un évenement LGBT de grande ampleur : Les Eurogames de Rotterdam seront le plus grand festival sportif et culturel que la ville ait connu ! Du 20 au 24 juillet, plus de 6 000 participants de toute l’Europe rejoindront Rotterdam pour la compétition sportives et tout ce que la ville peut offrir.

ILGA-Europe's Annual Conference
Turin – Italie
27-30 Octobre 2011

ILGA-Europe est la section européenne de l'International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans & Intersex Association (ILGA) et travaille pour les droits de l'homme et l'égalité pour les lesbiennes, gays, bis et trans au niveau Européen.

Il s'agit d'une fédération qui représente ses membres, généralement des associations ou organisations LGBT au niveau européen. Il y a actuellement plus de 250 associations adhérentes à travers l'Europe.

La conférence annuelle est le plus grand rassemblement de militants et associations LGBT en Europe.

MGE, Europride, Eurogames, ILGA-Europe – Agenda of European LGBT events in 2011

When I talk about Europe, people often tell me that they’d love to share more with other European countries, but they don’t know how.

A first solution is to support and take part to European LGBT events. You will find below 4 European LGBT events, which will take place in 2011. This list is not exhaustive and in a chronological order.

Mister Gay Europe
Brasov - Roumania
13-17th April 2011

The Mr. Gay Europe Pageant is much more than a beauty contest. The young man selected will be “more than just a pretty face and a nice body”. While physical beauty will be part of the judges’ considerations, it is a young man’s “inner beauty” that will make the difference in the selection.

Note that France will be back in the 2011 contest, represented by Guillaume Barbier, Ambassadeur Gay France.

Europride 2011
Rome – Italy
1-12 June 2011

Europride is an international LGBT event, which takes place every year in a different European city. For fifteen days in Rome there will be artistical and cultural events.Europride will have its high point with Pride Parade, concerts and parties with international clubs in the final weekend.

Rotterdam is anticipating a lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender (LGBT) event of unprevaled magnitude: The EuroGames Rotterdam will be the largest sports and cultural festival ever to be held in this city! From July 20th to 24th 2011, more than 6000 participants from all over Europe will join in Rotterdam for the sport competitions and all the other things this city has to offer.

ILGA-Europe's Annual Conference

ILGA-Europe is the European Region of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans & Intersex Association (ILGA) and works for human rights and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people at European level.

They are a non-governmental umbrella organisation which represents its members, principally organisations of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people at European level. Currently there are over 250 member organisations across Europe.

The Annual Conference is the biggest gathering of LGBT activists and organisations across Europe.
